New Website for Kissed By Mother Nature

Hi Everybody, bet you thought I went on vacation or something like that, I didn't. I have been working on a new hopefully better website. I forgot about all of the work that goes into setting up a website. I have closed the store but will still be able to offer great customer service through the website. Please take a look and give me some feedback, I've gotten almost two pages up but am still working on the rest. Hope you will have patience with the work in progress, I think it will be worth it. Thanks

Do you have Biophilia? I do! What is it you ask?

Definition of BIOPHILIA according to The Merriam-Webster Dictionary
: a hypothetical human tendency to interact or be closely associated with other forms of life in nature.

Amazing Amount of Chemicals Used Daily on Skin

According to an Environmental Working Group survey adults use around 126 chemicals daily on their body. It would be very hard to completely eliminate all chemicals from everything we put on our body but we can at least eliminate some. The products from Kissed By Mother Nature do not have toxic chemicals in them and these products are used over most of your body, so by using them you can be assured that many of those 126 chemicals are not getting into your system. What would you rather use on your body?

FOOT HEALTH AND DIABETES

Yesterday I had my Podiatrist appointment and I am really doing well. You see I was diagnosed with Diabetes last year and I need to keep track of my skin, mainly my feet. I have been told by my diabetes doctor that with Diabetes you have circulation problems, especially your feet, and that sometimes you are unable to feel your feet. Because of the possibility for loss of feeling it is especially important to check to make sure you have not injured yourself without even knowing it. I believe one of the things that helps me is I apply my Kissed By Mother Nature body cream or body butter to my feet in the morning and when I go to bed. This helps keep them soft and supple and I am able to see if I have any problem spots. Another reason I believe my products are helping so much is that they do not contain any alcohol or other drying chemicals. If you use body products that have alcohol or other drying chemicals those products will still dry you out according to my diabetes doctor.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

Sweet Almond Oil is an extract taken from actual almonds, the healthiest and richest being Cold Pressed, and is used for many health and beauty purposes. Oil from the Sweet Almond is prized for its emollient properties, which makes it a highly desired ingredient in skin care products intended to hydrate the skin. It is not quick to penetrate the skin and is why we use the largest amount of it in our Muscle Relief Oil where you want it to stay on the surface and makes it excellent for massage.
It is the unsaturated triglycerides in the oil that enable the moisturizing properties. Sweet Almond Oil is made up of three distinct chemicals: linoleic acid, glyceride and olein. Linoleic acid is an omega-3 fatty acid found in many nuts, and gives the extract many of its nutritional benefits. Glyceride is an ester formed between an acid and glycerol and is a necessary component of many soaps, making sweet almond oil an ideal ingredient for some toiletries. Olein is a yellowish liquid that occurs naturally in many fats and oils, and gives the oil its coloring.
Sweet almond oil has beneficial health and beauty qualities. It is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, and B6, Vitamin E, minerals and protein making it especially healthy for our skin. It is a good emollient, meaning it can condition and soften surfaces that it is applied to and wonderfully soothing, but doesn’t penetrate easily and is why we use only small amounts of Sweet Almond Oil in all of our products other than the Muscle Relief Oil.

ACAI OIL

Acai oil is one of the oils used in all of Kissed by Mother Nature products because of its powerful healing properties. The Acai Berry boasts the highest per unit value of antioxidant power of any edible fruit in the world. They say that the Acai berry is a more potent antioxidant than mangosteen, prunes, pomegranate, cranberries, nothing comes close. Pulp from the berries has been used for centuries by the natives of Brazil for their unmatched healing and nutritional properties. The Acai berry abounds in essential fatty acids such as Omega 2, Omega 6, and Omega 9. There are also many other vitamins such as B1, B2, B3, E and C, minerals such as Phosphorus, Calcium, and Potassium, as well as Polyphenols, anthocyanin’s, and phytotesterols. The berries are cold-pressed from the pulp of the Acai berry and processed under cold and air-free conditions to yield the freshest, purest oil possible.

WHATS IN YOUR FACE AND BODY PRODUCTS?

I thought I would share with you ingredients that I use in my All Natural Face and Body Products. Where they come from and how they help you get healthier skin. I hope this interests you as much as it does me. So let’s start with the Hazelnut and its oil that is in my Nourishing Face Cream with Extra: Toning, Sunscreen
& Anti-aging properties!

Growing up in Oregon I have lived near Hazelnut Orchards my entire life and I knew they were one of my favorite nuts to eat. But what I didn’t know was how amazing this small cobnut was for our skin when cold pressed into oil.

Oregon and Washington, I thought, was one of the largest suppliers of Hazelnuts but we supply only a small portion to the World. I found instead the Hazelnut is an extremely valuable nut cultivated in Turkey, Europe, Iran and Caucasus and some parts of Canada along with our US States Oregon and Washington, with Turkey being the main producer with nearly 75% of worldwide production.

The Hazelnut is not only good for you when eaten but the oil processed from the nut is exceptionally good for the skin. Hazelnut Oil for the skin has a high content of essential fatty acids like linoleic acid making it an excellent emollient and moisturizer. The oil, being light gets easily absorbed by the skin and is especially used for its astringent antibacterial properties that refines and closes pores, controls excess sebum and acne while toning the facial skin by maintaining skin elasticity. Hazelnut Oil has rejuvenating properties that aid in cell regeneration and strengthening capillaries. Regular application controls free radicals and smooth’s and delays wrinkles.
